A Time for Purple – Following Christ in a Red and Blue World
If Jesus were alive today, would he be a Republican or a Democrat?
If you have an easy and decisive answer for that question, it may be time to step back and look around. The tribal mentality that exists in the modern political landscape is damaging relationships and the overall wellbeing of many. Name calling has become common place. The country is becoming increasingly divided. It doesn’t have to be this way.
Come join us this Lenten Season as we dive into the realities of discipleship in our divided context. In worship on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m., we will focus on the difference between the rhetoric of campaigns and the promises of God. On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., we will engage in healthy dialogue about stories from the Bible, and how they pertain to the current context.
We welcome you to be a part of this journey, together.
