Pet Blessing

Our furry friends are part of our community as well. Each year, we take time to honor the animals who have filled our lives with such joy during our annual pet blessing.

Members are encouraged to bring their animals or pictures, toys or other belongings that remind them of their pets who are either anxious in crowds or have passed on, to be blessed. Donations of pet food are welcome (but not required) to be collected for the Pet Project of the Midwest, which works hard to keep beloved pets in homes and out of shelters.
