Stars! Angels! Shepherds! Kings!
Mark your calendar for 9 a.m. on Sunday, December 18 during worship as we share the Christmas Story with a simple musical: Stars! Angels! Shepherds! Kings” (by Patrick Messick) tells the Christmas story through song from the viewpoint of the stars, the angels, the shepherds and the kings, incorporating some familiar tunes:
- Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star Away in a Manger
- Angels We Have Heard on High The First Noel
- We Three Kings Go Tell It on the Mountain
There’s a role for all – sing (large group?, small group? solo?), play handbells, play another instrument, help with simple costumes, help with a simple set design, help in advance or help the morning of worship!
