We have helpers, let us know if you need help

The famous Mr. Rogers quote states:
When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”
Grace has a list of people available to help – and we will take more as more and more of you find yourself working from home: people from our congregation, yes, but also from the neighborhood. We’re all in this together.
Do you need help getting groceries? They can be delivered to your door.
Want a buddy to chat with? A pen pal?
Someone to exchange cards with, or recipes, devotions, etc.
We understand that it is easy to think “I’m fine, I can do this.” You probably can.
But if something unexpected pops up, having that built in safety net will make all of us feel more comfortable and at ease. We have wonderful relationships at Grace, so let’s keep that going, and build a few more connections while we are at it.
(Shhh. Don’t tell the helpers, but some of them are also used to keeping busy, and you’ll be helping them out as well.)
We all need a purpose. Let’s work together, until we can come together again. To be added to either list:
