Lutheran Day on the Hill 2024 – February 19, 2024, 8:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Lutheran Day on the Hill is LSI’s biggest advocacy event of the year. Join LSI and the three Iowa synods of the ELCA. As over 150 participants gather at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church to learn about critical issues Iowa children, adults and families are facing. After learning about advocacy and LSI’s mission in action, the group heads to the Iowa State Capitol to talk directly with legislators.

 

This year’s priorities are: Investing in a Strong Human Services Workforce, Support for Iowa’s Mental Health System, and Support for Services that Empower Refugees and Immigrants. To register and learn more, go to https://lsiowa.org/ldh
