God’s Work, Our Hands 10:00 a.m., September 12
Our mission project today will be for Lutheran World Relief. We plan to assemble 200 personal care kits and 30 baby care kits. We will also have some quilts to tie. These activities will be set up so that you can work with your family or in a small group for your safety. Please join us!
We will also have signups for the decluttering and cleaning of small areas or the building for return to use. Due to the uncertainty we would be able to have large groups roaming the building, or the comfort level of those who might sign up, we will space out those cleaning tasks over the next few months. We can accomplish more than we could in a few hours on one single day, and keep everyone comfortable.
• There are several October dates to choose from –
• Monday 11th: 6:30p-8:30p
• Tuesday 12th: 9a-11a
• Thursday 14th: 6:30p-8:30p
• Saturday 16th: 10a – noon
• Sunday 17th: 2p-4p
• Your group will be informed of the space you will be working in when you arrive on your chosen date.
• The task will be simple – items will be sorted into “Keep, Donate, or Pitch”, and we will have space designated for each. Some items will be marked in advance.
• Additional dates will likely be set for later this fall once we see what progress we are making.
Thank you! See you Sunday!
