New Information Cards in the Sanctuary

Have you ever forgotten to sign in on the pew pads?  Have you ever been anxious about who sees that information?  Have you ever noticed that the sheets are usually almost empty?  Have you ever wondered how best to let people know of a prayer concern or change in contact information?

If you said “yes” to any of these questions you are not alone.  The staff has spent considerable time talking about these topics and the sensitivity of some of the information gathered.  We have developed cards that will be placed with the envelopes in each pew.

One side will be for prayer concerns.  A person can list a prayer concern and who s/he would like to know about the concern.  The other side is for giving the office contact information and requesting information.  If someone moves or is a guest, it provides a more confidential way of sharing this information.  Just fill out the card, fold it, and place in the offering plate.  It is that simple.  These cards will be placed in a private envelope for the pastor to go through on Monday morning. Information that is not confidential will be passed to the appropriate people.
