Wreath Lighting, Virtual Festival of Trees Videos

Due to the holiday workload of our amazing volunteers, today will be the final deadline for Advent Wreath Lighting Videos. If you would like to share a video of your family lighting an Advent Wreath at home, we’ve included the reading for the Fourth week of Advent below!
Help us strengthen our connection with you during the Advent season by submitting a video of yourself or your household lighting the candles on your wreath at home. The video will then be played during the wreath-lighting portion of worship services.

Fourth Week of Advent Lighting of the Advent Wreath
L: Blessed are you, God of hosts, for you promised to send a son, Emmanuel, who brought your presence among us; and you promise through your Son Jesus to save us from our sin. As we light these candles, turn again to us in mercy; strengthen our faith in the word spoken by your prophets; restore us and give us life that we may be saved.
O house of David, come,
let us rejoice, for the Son of God, Emmanuel, comes to be with us. Amen.

As with the Advent Wreath videos above, the sooner you can submit your photos, the better! We originally did not set a deadline, but the week of Christmas is coming up fast for our volunteers!
We are definitely enjoying all of the photos of Nativity Sets, Advent Wreaths, and Trees that have been submitted so far! Submit yours to [email protected] so they may be part of a slide show that runs in the Gathering Hall through the remainder of December.
